ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Dr. Kanwal Ali Qambrani

MBBS, FCPS Neurosurgery

Founder, The Neurosurgical Case Room

Consultant Neurosurgeon
Indus Medical College Hospital, Pakistan

Dr. Kanwal Ali Qambrani is a neurosurgeon from Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, and TNCR began with a problem she knew firsthand.

Training in neurosurgery meant navigating an enormous body of knowledge within an equally demanding schedule. The knowledge was there, but it was scattered, rarely structured as a curriculum, seldom easy to navigate, and never equally accessible to everyone.

That experience stayed with her.

As she grew as a surgeon, so did a simple idea: what if neurosurgical knowledge could travel further than the opportunities available to an individual trainee? What if complex subjects could be taught systematically, made easier to absorb, and, most importantly, translated into better decisions and greater competence in the operating room?

That idea, born in Hyderabad, became The Neurosurgical Case Room.

For Dr. Qambrani, TNCR is ultimately about giving back in two directions. To the neurosurgical community, by making high-quality, structured education accessible regardless of geography or resources. And to patients, by helping that education travel the final, and most important lag, the distance: from knowledge to surgical competence, and from surgical competence to better care.

TNCR is her attempt to build something that outlives an individual lecture, course, or career: a growing body of neurosurgical education that can be learned from anywhere, carried into the operating room, and passed forward.
